Dressing the bump
One thing that concerned me was how I was going to dress myself upon becoming pregnant. I have never stepped foot inside a maternity store but been in stores that actually carry some maternity clothes and have never seen anything that I would personally want to wear. Not to mention the fabric...ugh the fabric on most of the clothes is horrid. I like soft not scratchy. At 30 weeks, I have yet to purchase any maternity clothes. However, I have bought a few items that are not maternity but I think work really well in my wardrobe.
Nicole Miller Sleeveless Stretch Maxi Dress ($295) but I picked up a knock up purchased by my mother for 16.99 at Hamericks plus a 25% discount. It did have spaghetti straps and a ruffle but the same colors. So comfortable!
This maxi dress is absolutely gorgeous, and I fell in love. But I didn't fall in love with the price. So again. I knocked it off with what...a maxi skirt. I found an extra long navy blue maxi skirt pulled up that I love to pair with a wide red belt and if I need a little white cardigan from Old Navy. (Marshalls on clearance $13.00)
This flower dress is super comfy and looks so cute with a little brown braided belt. (Went to the doctor the other day and had so many compliments and girls asking were I got the dress. (Delias-on clearance right now $19.99)
This ruched striped tank top I purchased in navy blue. It hugs my curves nicely. (Marshalls $9.99)
I really wanted some white shorts to go with my tops and these are so comfy with the elastic waistband. They were also linen and lightweight which is perfect for the summer. (Marshalls $14.99)
