Necklace from Body Central
How far along? 7 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 0 (yay) but I feel all bloated.
Maternity clothes? Nope, although my mother told me the other day that she was ready to go maternity shopping. I was like NOOOOOOO…hopefully it will be a long time before I have to go that route. But when I do this dress from Isabella Oliver is my go to dress.
Stretch marks? No. But I sure thought I had one the other night and started freaking out. My husband had to calmly show me it was a mark from my pants and how I had been sitting with my Bella in my lap. She is such a little lap dog.
Sleep: Good. I hit the bed and am a goner. The other night my husband turned off the light, walked around the bed and got in. By the time he did that, I was already asleep. It might have been the fact that I have been sick this week that helped contribute to that.
Best moment this week: Talking to mom about everything. She is so excited. We already have a date to go antiquing for baby furniture as I want to repurpose a dresser, sideboard, chest, or something like that for a changing table, and then I want an armoire/wardrobe. I would also like to find and armoire to take the doors off for a book shelf type thing. (All painted white of course).
Have you told family and friends: Yes, and it is like a weight off my shoulders. It was wonderful telling my parents. It was neat putting up our announcement on Facebook as well.
Miss Anything? Actually yes, I feel pale. I miss tanning. The only good thing is I calculated the cost of tanning for a year and it will easily buy a crib (although I already know that my parents will make sure that they buy everything for him or her). They are so excited about their first (and only) grandbaby.
Movement: No
Food cravings: Last night, I wanted Mexican food sooooo bad, I could not stand it. But, the hubby had to work late so that was a no go. Then someone mentioned Japanese and I was like oooooo…I think I crave things when people mention them versus actually coming up with them on my own. I do not know if it is a craving, but I am loving fruit and vegetables right now. Peaches, pears and apples right now make me sooooo happy…speaking of…
Anything making you queasy or sick: I feel a little sick more at night. I am wearing a seaband. I also start getting a little icky if I start to get hungry.
Have you started to show yet: No
Gender prediction: Still sticking with a girl-hopefully the Chinese chart holds true.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy. Blissfully happy.
Weekly Wisdom: Enjoy, plan, and relax. Listen to my body. If I am hungry, I need to eat. If I am tired, I need to sleep.
Looking forward to: Our next appointment during week 10. I am also looking forward to going shopping with my mommy during our school’s winter break. I predict that I will have bags of things to bring home.

On a side note: My mother gave me 3 boxes/bags of all my old baby
blankets, clothes, and little
things. Since we have decided we want to go with a white/cream/ivory type
bedding and add a little color with vintage and antique items, I have been
looking on pinterest for ways to use my old items. A couple of things I came across were the Lapshade tutorial, a feather boa wreath, a shadow box, and a shadow box of baby clothes.
