Well, I made it through another year of TCAPS with a group of middle schoolers. Whew. Go Me! Tonight, a bunch of teachers and support staff are heading out to our favorite restaurant to gather...Hillside owned by Angelo's. We have met to eat, and well I'll say socialize many times. Sometimes we stay there practically all night other times we go do things (like when we all went to watch BAD TEACHER). It is great to unwind with my fellow colleagues but unfortunately for me, I can't take part in the actual "unwind" process for another few months.
Then, tomorrow, my bestie is throwing a huge Cinco De Mayo celebration at her house. I got to thinking on Monday (ooooo Saturday is Cinco de Mayo, maybe we could...) and we just took it from there. We are going to have a taco bar set up, and some kind of like tequila lime shrimp, some dips like salsa and gauacamole and 7 layer (yummy). I will definately be taking my Crystal Light Mocktails Margarita mix, just so I don't feel completely left out.
